Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As the incoming school counselor, the requested items will greatly impact my ability to create an effective counseling room for our students. Bean bags, stools, and mental health posters will help establish a comfortable and safe space for both group and individual sessions. Meditation tools, SEL games, and activities will offer hands-on, engaging ways to support students' mental health and well-being. By integrating these resources, I aim to provide an environment where students can manage stress, enhance focus, and develop essential skills to overcome various school and life challenges.

I deeply appreciate any support in making this vision a reality for our K-8 students, creating an interactive, safe, and comfortable counseling environment.

My students are diverse and resilient, and a nurturing space is crucial for their personal growth and academic success. This project will have a meaningful impact on all of them.
