Getting Back to the Basics

My students need glue sticks, erasers, highlighters, pencil sharpeners and colored pencils to help them through their daily lessons.

My Students

We started off the year with each student using a supply box. In the supply box were various glue sticks, erasers and pencil sharpeners all brand new ready and for learning to occur. Well you can imagine that after reaching the 100th day of school our supplies are not as sparkly anymore.

I teach 6th, 7th & 8th grade language arts.

My students have various types of learning disabilities. Due to their learning disabilities school is not their favorite place to be. Learning can be a challenge at times, but thankfully this year we have incorporated an interactive notebook that allows students to express themselves creatively as they learn. It is amazing how excited they become while learning about adjectives if they can make their notes colorful!

My Project

Pencil sharpeners, glue sticks, colored pencils and erasers may seem simple, but if your pencil is dull, your glue stick just ran out and you make frequent mistakes, these supplies are crucial to helping you learn. Will you provide students with the basic supplies so they can sharpen their skills in the classroom?

Your donations will provide students with materials for their daily lessons and motivation to finish their school year strong.

With new erasers, colored pencils, pencil sharpeners and highlighters our learning adventures will continue!
