My Students

My students walk into my classroom motivated and longing for knowledge every day. They look forward to my quirkiness and enthusiastic lessons. There is nothing more I enjoy in the classroom than to see my students' love for learning.

My students are a group of 23 enthusiastic and loving second graders. These students have wonderful families that are highly involved in their lives, both at home and at school. I am excited to continue this educational journey with them this school year.

My Project

Technology allows students to reach limits beyond our classroom walls. We already have 2 Chromebooks, but we don't have enough devices to successfully participate with interactive and engaging learning programs such as Near Pod and Kahoot. We need additional devices. The Surface Go is portable, small and easy to use for small children's hands. Students will use the tablet to teach lessons which will then be projected to the Smartboard for all others to see as well as use for Nearpod and Kahoot. I believe in students' playing an active role in their learning. These are excellent tools to help my students do just that.

Students will be engaged in the learning process using these unique tools.

What better way to get children excited about learning than through the use of technology in a meaningful and authentic way.
