My students come from all walks of life and abilities. For only being in first grade, they are willing and happy to make a difference in their world. From ELL, high functioning, to disabled learners, they are all making a difference to each other, their families, and their community.
I have the best students and I want them to have the best.
These wonderful parents and students support new changes in education, are excited to help teachers, and want to be able to compete in an evolving world. I'm so excited how much this community comes together to love and support these amazing kids. My new families come from all backgrounds, homes, lifestyles and living situations, including struggling families from the Air Force base nearby.
My Project
The Osmo is an amazing new technology that is perfect for teaching and reinforcing learning for first grade students. Coding, letters, numbers, building shapes, and drawing are all concepts that Osmo offers to learners. Wobble chairs also help students who need to move while they work. They are also cutting-edge and high-quality learning tools that will last for years.
From coding and building to moving while we learn is what my students need most this year.
My students move around our room a lot throughout the day. These tools will help them explore, create, and engage while learning.
