Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

Our classroom is ACTIVE and ON THE GO! We take our learning very seriously, whether it's in the math classroom graphing data that we collected in science class, or outside on the water, examining maps and collecting plant samples. I am a highly committed 4th grade teacher, who values hands on learning! I do everything I can to find ways to get our students outside of the classroom, so that they can apply their classroom knowledge to real-life experiences. By the end of fourth grade, our students are confident learners, who are socially responsible and understand the value of the earth and world around them!

Many of our students start the school year off without the appropriate school supplies. As teachers, we are prepared to spend time and money helping all students have what they need to feel a part of their classroom, and prepared to learn.

These dual sided dry erase boards will be such a welcome addition to our classroom learning routine. As students, "ON THE GO", we will be able to take our learning outside of the classroom as well as stay actively engaged inside the classroom! Whether we're in the cafeteria gathering data for graphing purposes, or in the classroom practicing mathematics review problems, our students will truly value this alternative writing and response format. Dry Erase activities keep students excited, focused and engaged!

Your support will help engage students of ALL learning styles. Dry Erase board activities allow for our movement oriented students to move about the room, while still remaining engaged in the learning. This portable teaching device will also allow ALL students the opportunity to take their learning out of their seats and outside of the classroom, allowing them hands-on, real life learning experiences.
