My Project

It is almost safe to say that most young children have lots of energy throughout the school day. We try to give our students plenty of gross motor play opportunities during the school day, but sometimes they just need a little switch up of opportunities.

I love how gross motor play brings out the creative and social skills in my students, they really come together and make the best out of their play situation.

Toys like the soccer and basketballs, the hula hoops, and the crocodile hop game give my students several different options to be able to work off some of that unlimited energy they have. The toys can be used indoors or outdoors, they give the students the opportunity to work on social skills, as well as problem solving skills. Not only do we want to exercise the students' minds, we need to also exercise their bodies, and that's what I hope for these items to do.
