Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Give this project a boost!
A chain reaction of support starts with one share.
I teach 35 awesome 4th grade students, representing a mixture of ethnicity, genders, and socioeconomic backgrounds.
They work hard and love learning.
They are especially kind and empathetic to each other, even though going to school in a pandemic has been hard.
My Project
During Covid-19 and all the restrictions put on us, my students have been so good about staying in their seats and keeping their distance from each other. Now that the weather is getting nicer, they need to get outside, get moving, and be creative.
Providing whole class recess activities is wonderful because it gives kids a chance to move around and release energy before it's time to sit still and focus again.
We are just coming back to school full time and they are still not allowed to share equipment, so they will each need their own ball, chalk, jump rope, etc. to use at recess.
