Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are a diverse group of enthusiastic and introspective young people. They give everything they have to excel in their academics especially in Physical Education. They inspire me to do this work to the best of my abilities every day and are the best co-teachers anyone could ask for.

My Project

As a Physical Educator, I find that students respond most to environments in which they feel comfortable, motivated, and inspired.

I need your help to create and sustain an environment like this to ensure that students are achieving the physical goals they have set for themselves this school year, and for years to come.

With the use of a speaker, we will be able to project and hear music and presentations from our fellow remote students. Additionally, with the new hula hoop sets, students will be able to explore their physical capabilities and simultaneously work on their gross motor skills.

Studies have shown that music has an amazing impact on mood and academics and in these unprecedented times, I want my students to feel safe, cared for, and inspired to do their absolute best. I won't be able to accomplish such a feat without your help!
