Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Many students in my school come from low-income families. Children in my Dual Language class will be receiving instruction in both English and Chinese. They have the opportunity to learn two languages at the age of 5. Nothing should stop children from exploring the world.

Lack of resources shouldn't be a barrier for students to explore and become multi-cultural, and even multilingual!

My Project

Lack of resources has always been a barrier in providing our children with a better environment to learn.

As we start blended learning in the fall, I want to make sure each child has his/her own supplies to use in the classroom, even at home.

All of the supplies will help the children to get ready for the new school year. I want to make it as safe as possible to make sure each child has his/her individual supplies to use. School supplies students will be using included: folder, crayons, glue sticks, clear dry-erase pockets, notebook, etc.

This year has been difficult for teachers, parents, even for the children. Your generosity will help many parents who might not be able to afford school supplies, and they will help our children to continue learning and continue to flourish.

Help us provide a positive, and safe learning environment for the little ones to learn, explore, and grow.
