Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My Kindergartners are very eager to learn! We are a Title I K-5 school, so I always strive to give them the best school experience that I can. Creating a fun and engaging classroom will help foster their academic growth.

Because of the Pandemic, many of the incoming students have learning gaps.

In order to address these gaps I plan on doing a lot of small group work and centers. In order to implement this to be successful, the centers need to be clearly marked and organized.

My Project

This project will allow me to organize my Math and ELA centers, as well as student homework folders.

I teach Kindergarten and I want to show my students from an early age that being organized is important.

This project will help the students, as well as myself, to stay organized and make the school year run a little smoother.

I plan to use the folders for their homework. They are clearly marked in English and Spanish. They are durable and they have a plastic sleeve in the front where I can add resources that they can use at home. The other materials will be used to create and organize the Math and ELA centers.

An organized room is an efficient room!
