My Students

Many of the most important lessons in school are not taught from books, but rather from a teacher that has captured the respect and attention of their students. At our school we have started a Crochet Club. Students are able to work during their free time and learn the art of crochet.

Initially the club was started with one teacher and a couple students.

It has grown into ten or more students. We cannot keep up with the demand for crochet supplies. Currently we have been purchasing materials with our personal money.

My Project

My students need looms, crochet hooks, and yarn for our Crochet Club. It is impossible for a good teacher to ignore the opportunity to reach students. The arts are a great way to reach some otherwise tough to reach students. Even though the club sponsor is purchasing some materials she is still having to turn kids away due to the lack of supplies. With the addition of these requested supplies, our Crochet Club will be able to accommodate all of the students that want to participate and learn how to crochet.

When a teacher has found a way to reach students we want to provide every opportunity for that teacher to provide that lesson.

At our school we want to keep growing our Crochet Club. Please help us reach our students through the art of crochet.
