My Project

Many of the students I teach have a strong passion for athletics and sports. They view sports as their reason for coming to school and getting good grades. My students are always asking about ways to get stronger for their various sports and show a strong interest in weight training. Being that my students are in middle school, their muscles are still developing, so they need to be careful when it comes to weight training and focus on proper technique and safety. By providing a dumbbell rack for my students, they can learn the proper techniques for building and training their muscles in a safe environment under supervision. Incorporating weights into our workouts will also help keep the students interested and motivated to complete the daily workouts. My goal for this project/equipment is to introduce my students to the world of weight training so that they can hopefully find their passion for fitness and health.
