My Students

My students love learning! They love technology but have very little opportunity to use it in the classroom. They are curious, enthusiastic, and creative; my students are eager to immerse themselves in any kind of challenge.

Many are facing hardships at home and need the escape the classroom offers.

My students come from diverse backgrounds with the majority of them being low income. Having technology at their fingertips gives them one more avenue to escape and explore the world education brings to them.

My Project

Students will be able to expand their knowledge in all areas. Kindle Fire 7 allows students an additional way to learn. We will use our Kindle Fires in all subject areas.

Finding facts beyond what our school library can offer, excites students!

My students will be able to find facts and explore topics by having Kindle Fires in our class. We will use our new technology to hone our math skills and language skills during center time and to research projects!

Currently, we have about 30 Chromebooks to share between 9 classrooms (min of 25 students in each class). We are allotted a specific time which makes incorporating technology into all subjects nearly impossible. These Kindle Fire 7's will improve student learning and give them another avenue for finding information.
