My Students

Every morning our school shouts out our motto, which describes them as being a leader, responsible, respectful, resourceful, and proud. My students follow this motto in school and in life.

My students come from a city that has been considered one of the most dangerous cities in America.

Despite that, they are creating their own path to a successful future. It amazes me to see how fully engaged they are to learn each and every day. I feel privileged to teach such a great group of kids.

My Project

My school was so lucky to have a grant that provided us with three brand new garden beds! Now we need garden supplies, such as trowels, shears, and gloves! My students are so excited to be able to grow their own vegetables! Many kids in America do not eat enough vegetables. When students grow their own vegetables they are more likely to try and eat them!

Grow a healthy garden means they can grow a healthy body and mind!

My students need gardening gloves and supplies to help our garden become successful. Our goal is to have a salad party with all the vegetables grown by the end of the year!
