My Project

I am seeking a grant to provide flexible seating options for my first-grade classroom. The primary goal is to create a comfortable and engaging reading environment that encourages students to enjoy their reading time and develop a lifelong love for reading.

Providing flexible seating will make reading time more enjoyable for students, helping them to see reading as a fun and engaging activity.

This can lead to improved reading comprehension and a more profound interest in reading, supporting their overall academic growth and success.

The grant will be used to purchase a variety of seating options such as rocker chairs, floor cushions, and ottomans. These choices will allow students to select their preferred reading spots, fostering a sense of ownership and excitement about reading. The flexible seating will be incorporated into daily reading activities, encouraging a positive reading experience.
