This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The library is a place where students get to relax and enjoy reading. Students sit at desks all day long and when they come to the library, they love to sit on the floor, get comfy, and read. We want the library to be a place where students look forward to opportunities to get immersed in reading. Students love to read in different ways and have so much fun when they get read out of their desks.

We want our students to enjoy reading and have fun in the library.

Students will read more if they are comfortable, and the bean bag chairs we selected will be a popular reading spot! We want to provide our students with comfortable and varied seating options for reading, and introduce them to fun ways to read. Students in all grades will enjoy coming to the library knowing that is a place where they can really relax in a comfortable environment with different options for reading and finding fun books!
