My students need disinfectant wipes, tissues and hand soap to help keep the classroom clean and their noses dry. My students take great pride in their classroom and school. If our project is fully funded, we will have supplies to keep our classroom clean and germ-free. Keeping a clean classroom will allow students to stay healthy enough to attend school. The more they attend class, the more they learn!
My students have enough challenges, but a dirty classroom should not be one.
Our classroom only gets cleaned twice a week. If we want a clean classroom, we can maintain it ourselves, or wait for the next custodial round. It is so important for students to learn independence. If we make a mess, it doesn't hurt to clean it up ourselves.
