My Students

Our school is a Title I school, located in a small, rural county. Our classrooms are filled with a diverse makeup of students that include English Language Learners, students with disabilities, and gifted students.

Our students are very eager to learn, and they come to school excited for a new day.

Most of our students come from low-income households where there are limited budgets for school materials and supplies; however, their families are very supportive and very involved in our school community!

My Project

I am requesting supplies that will help prevent the spread of germs in order to keep our students healthy. At the beginning of the school year, germs and illnesses are spread among the students. It is imperative for our students to be physically present at school each and every day so they can get the most out of the educational opportunities provided to them. When they are absent, they are missing out on valuable instruction. Therefore, some students fall behind, and it is difficult for them to catch up.

These supplies will help decrease students' chances of getting sick from the classroom environment.

The tissues and hand sanitizer will help prevent students from spreading germs among each other. The disinfectant spray and disinfecting wipes will help eliminate germs and viruses on classroom furniture and shared objects. By supporting our project, you will help keep our students healthy and in school so they can get the most out of their education!
