My Students

My students are from rural West Virginia. As with many kids, these students need constant reminders and supplies during this time of Covid. These students are in elementary school and do not always know how to keep themselves free from germs. Many of these students come from low-income families that may not be able to afford enough supplies to keep their kids properly sanitized.

These students would benefit from having more supplies to keep them clean and free from germ causing illnesses.

These items will help to increase their time spent in school away from illnesses.

My Project

Students will be able to use these items at school to help fight Covid and other illness germs so that they can spend more days in school. If students are able to come to school, their abilities to read and calculate math increase. While there are more people at school than at home, we are a small school and are able to appropriately social distance and follow the guidelines. Chesapeake Elementary Teachers and Staff do everything we can to keep our students safe and learning and on track for their future.
