This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Geometry Galore: Where Learning Shapes Up to Be a Blast!" is an engaging and interactive project designed to make the study of geometry fun and exciting for students. The project aims to foster a deep understanding of geometric concepts while maintaining an enjoyable learning environment.

While calculators can be a helpful tool in Geometry, it's important for students to strike a balance between using calculators and developing their problem-solving skill.

Calculators can be very helpful for a variety of reasons such as complex calculations which can quickly perform complex arithmetic, reducing the chance of calculation errors when dealing with lengthy geometric equations.

This project also incorporates a variety of hands-on activities such as using geometric manipulatives like shapes and sticks to reinforce geometric principles. Students get to physically manipulate shapes and objects to grasp abstract concepts.

Geometry Galore" is designed to transform the often intimidating subject of geometry into an exciting and enjoyable learning adventure. By making geometry fun and engaging, students are more likely to retain the knowledge and develop a positive attitude toward mathematics and problem-solving.
