My Project
Students will construct an amusement park using art supplies and other items. My students will learn the importance of measurement, surface area, and volume of two dimensional and three dimensional objects while constructing their amusement park attractions. These supplies will help the students develop and design the theme of their amusement park attractions.
COVID-19 has directly impacted my ability to afford this hands-on learning opportunity for my students.
COVID-19 prevented students from having the ability to collaborate as groups. The students are encouraged to work with partners on their amusement park. This project will aid the students who cannot afford to purchase their own supplies due to financial struggles the same opportunities as other students.
This classroom project was brought to life by Oklahoma State Department of Education.
