I teach Pre-Algebra to eighth graders in a mostly-rural school setting. There is a wide ability range in these classes, ranging from advanced students to special needs students.

Students struggle with spatial reasoning, and with concepts of geometry. Additionally, since this is my first year teaching, I have not been able to purchase anything that I think will help these students learn.

I need approximately 30 Geoboards for students to use as hands-on manipulatives. This will benefit my students geometry skills and spatial reasoning. They will benefit from the manipulation of the boards in front of them. Each student will have a board to use instead of just watching the teacher.

Your help will ensure that the students in these classes to be more engaged during class. They may be able to have a deeper understanding of mathematical concepts.
