My Project

I’m excited to share a special project that our 3rd graders are working on! They will be writing their own poems and creating geometric illustrations to go along with their words. It’s a fun way for them to explore creativity while also practicing math skills like shapes, symmetry, and measurement. I can already tell this is going to be a great way for them to express themselves!

Not only will this project encourage creativity, but it also gives them a chance to practice math in a hands-on, meaningful way.To bring this project to life, we’re asking for a few donations of colored pencils and markers.

These supplies will help the students add vibrant color and detail to their illustrations, making their poetry come to life.

What I love most about our 3rd graders is how curious and eager they are to try new things. They truly have a passion for learning, and this project gives them the chance to combine two subjects they might not always see as connected math and language artsin a way that’s both fun and educational.
