My Project

Incorporating gender-reaffirming hygiene products, snacks, cleaning supplies, and books into our classroom can profoundly impact the learning experience for our students. Many of my students face societal pressures that can affect their self-esteem and focus in school. By providing these essential items, we can create an inclusive environment where every student feels seen and supported. Gender-reaffirming hygiene products will help students feel comfortable and confident, allowing them to concentrate better on their studies. Healthy snacks will keep their energy levels up and support their overall well-being, while cleaning supplies ensure a tidy and welcoming space for learning.

My goal for this project is to foster a supportive community where all students can thrive academically and emotionally.

I want them to feel empowered to express their identities freely and without stigma. Additionally, including diverse books that reflect various gender identities and experiences will enrich their understanding and promote empathy and respect.

What makes my students special is their resilience and individuality. They come from diverse backgrounds, each with unique stories and perspectives. By creating an environment that honors their identities and addresses their needs, we can cultivate a sense of belonging that encourages them to engage actively in their education and explore their potential. This project aims not only to provide material support but also to affirm their identities, helping them succeed in school and beyond.
