My Project

My students really love printmaking and this year we have discovered gel plate printing. Printing with gel plates is a really fun process, you can layer multiple images, use cutouts and add different colors, but each layer requires drying time. The kids love this mono-printing process because it gives them a ton of creative freedom.

An extra electric air can would help to make the printing process even better.

We currently have one, which means the kids have to share it. Having two would make it easier for multiple students to print at once. The gel medium, baby oil and gelli plate will allow us to continue exploring different techniques with this process.
