Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We have a group of students newly arrived to the United States. This will be their first winter and will be needing items such as gloves, hats, scarves and vaseline for their skin. I hope to pack these items in baggies and gift one to each child and their family members. I hope to also give to any other families in need of these items at our school. It is expected for this winter to be a cold one in New York City and every one deserves to have the right winter gear to protect themselves from the cold.
