My Students

My students come from various socioeconomic, race, religious, and cultural backgrounds. They are bright-eyed and excited about learning. My students love learning and engaging in meaningful activities.

Every student deserves to be happy, healthy, and safe at school.

With the recent events of COVID-19, the way schools function have changed from anything we have ever known.

Our classroom fosters a love for learning through different experiences. Many students do not have the background knowledge that you would expect a child their age to have. I try to provide students with experiences that will impact their lives not only while they are in my classroom but that they can take with them throughout their lives.

My Project

If this past school year has taught me anything, its that kids are resilient. I watched students push through some of the toughest times and still show up to learn each and every day. Adding water bottle holders to each day will promote hydration throughout the day as well as keep our classroom clean and organized. Increasing our seating choices will also help to promote a comfortable and exciting learning environment. These new seating options will give students a choice in how they learn and help them to feel like they have ownership of their learning.
