I get excited when I can transmit my passion and joy for learning to the students as I feel this is the most important part of my job: cultivating the love for learning in them.
Hi my name is Annamarie and I am a pre kindergarten teacher!
I love kids and with 15 years of experience as a teacher. I LOVE teaching the little ones, they are so eager to learn and they are like little sponges taking in ALL the information.
I work in a Title I school, which means my students come from economically disadvantaged homes. My students are eager to learn, and I try my BEST to make school as fun and interesting so that they learn to love coming to school and learning.
In the past years, the pre kinder students come into my classroom with no fine motors skills, which are extremely important when starting to write. Also, they are not thinkers or problem solvers.
My goal this year with the help of Donors.org is to try and get some materials that would enhance both.
These materials would make my class engaging and get the students to have fun while helping them learn these vital skills.
The kids will be able to use their fine motor skills by putting together the Robots and will be able to apply the higher level thinking by planning out and following direction on how to build and make the robot work.
