Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Recently, there has been a push to teach STEAM and robotics in the upper grades in elementary schools. Many would agree that teachers need to teach physical science basics before they teach complex topics. However, hands-on material makes teaching complex topics like robotics fun and easy to comprehend. I know that my students will be better students and will be able to comprehend science more, after they are exposed to the requested hands-on science supplies. I have requested a magnetic whiteboard and Magnetic Gears to begin our unit on simple tools and gadgets. I can assure you that my students will enhance their learning because these supplies will be innovative, engaging, and motivating. My students will have resources that will teach them exciting, hands-on lessons in electronics. The resources have components that combine with each other to create working circuit boards just like the ones found inside TVs, radios, and other devices. The resources will teach my students how to build simple electric machines.
