This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Students without supplies can't fully participate in educational activities and they frequently distract others. Basic school supplies provide much needed structure to learning.

Tools for learning help students to get off to a great start!

Therefore having appropriate school supplies decreases classroom disruptions that often hinder effective teaching and student learning.

These supplies, pencils, glue, scissors, markers, etc, will be set up for students to retrieve as needed. This will allow students have ownership in their learning and the tools needed to make it happen. "Studies have shown that students who have school supplies of their own improve grades, creativity, attitudes towards learning, behavior, peer relationships and self-image."

Celebrate Black teachers and kids! This project supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of students are Black.
