This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Project
I am entering into my 14th year teaching and I currently teach kindergarten. A lot of my students come from low-income families and I always want to make sure I have the materials I need to give them the best education possible. It is time to update my tables. My tables are older and some have even started coming loose. My first goal is to update my table used for testing and small group time. I use this table as well as my assistant to get lots of work done. We pull students who need individual help over to this table to give them that extra attention they need. This table is used to do lots of individual testing/assessments. This table is also used to do small group work and the students can play here during free centers. There really aren't funds for me to get new tables, so this donation means so much to myself and my students who will benefit from this!
