My Project

Our school has received a very large donation of plants. I will be working with various classrooms to clean and maintain our gardens, tree wells, and raised bed planters. We already started planting sunflowers, roses, and other types of flowers. These have attracted many living things to our playground and gardens.

Students are able to see how the plants we have been taking care of are helping the environment.

They also enjoy the pop of color around campus. Students are learning how important it is to take care of our environment because it benefits all living things. The trellis and support cages will help the tomato plants thrive. The students will get to see the plant life cycle and will get to enjoy the tomatoes once they are ready. Our students are enjoying gardening and are learning so much in the process.
