My Project

All classrooms need an indoor garden. Gardening helps the minds of preK students in so many different ways. Gardening help students to self-regulate, to identify different shapes and colors, and to explore the natural world. Each student will receive their very own front yard garden box that they will have to take care of. Each front yard will come with a variety of seeds that each of the students will plant. Each student garden will contain the following: GREEN:3 palm trees (canary island date palm, traphycarus fortunei,mexican fan) RED: Japanese Red Maple ORANGE: Orange Citrus Tree, YELLOW: Banana. Student will be encouraged to add more color to their front yard gardens.
