Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

We were recently featured in the New York Times for having 44 percent of our students in a housing crisis.

Our school has about 44 percent of students homeless at some point.

Our school is a 100% free lunch and Title I school serving new immigrants in the Bronx (NYC), New York. Our kids are amazingly motivated to achieve the American dream. Most of the parents did​ not finish high school.

My students are future minority engineers! Make their dreams come true. They are hard-working and super motivated. Robots would really help the process.

Please help them in their quest to become future engineers.

My Project

We are building on our outdoor garden this year and need a little help in the power department. Our kids put forth great effort in this blooming neighborhood oasis that is the school. Won't you help us make the Bronx brighter! We have everything bit the money.

Students directly benefit from this activity as they work in teams, get outside after being locked up from COVID, and learn what community involvement is all about.

We have found that these activities stimulate disaffected youth in future school academic activities as they feel more a part of the community.

Our kids will come to do all the work on a Saturday and weekend to get the school looking great. We make the city flower and give the kids an everlasting oasis for decades to come. It makes the whole community of the Bronx Feel better.
