Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students have been working on different ways of helping our Earth. They have been excited to lean that there are ways in which they can help out, being as young as they are. Because of this, they figured out that growing their own plants, will help the environment as they help beautifying the environment as well as provide food food for bees and butterflies. They have decided that they wish to grow their very own garden, however, there is no place in our campus for us to do so.

By providing these mobile raised gardens and some soil for my students, we will be able to accomplish one of their desires.

The mobile gardens will allow for them to become responsible in being able to wheel the carts in and out of the classroom. They will need to make sure they water their garden and take good care of it.
