Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My classroom uses STEM for teaching and learning. Right now our theme is “Farm”. We have been reading many books about different fruits and vegetables. I would like to give my children an opportunity to be able to grow their own plants.

The “Whitney Brothers Mobile Garden Center” will let my students grow a beautiful inside classroom garden.

Being able to plant and watch the plants grow will give them a sense of responsibility.

I love the thinking minds of my students. They’re very curious and are always asking many questions about their surroundings. I would love to watch them grow their own plants while talking about how they did it on their own.
