Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My gardening club needs a new raised bed garden! Our former garden beds have suffered greatly from the weather, curious students, and the neighborhood feral cats. Please help us start fresh with new raised beds that are tougher and higher (to keep the cats out!)

Picture students grabbing a strawberry or cherry tomato as they pass by the garden on their way through the front doors of the school!

Imagine their delight as they leave little green pumpkins growing in June and return in the Fall to find great orange pumpkins ready for harvest! Envision classrooms releasing their homegrown butterflies into the garden and their excitement as they watch those butterflies move from flower to flower.

All of this has been happening at our school, but our garden beds have seen better days and we may not be able to make it happen this year. Please help us continue this wonderful tradition!
