Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students worked so hard last year to get our school's garden up and running. This year we are looking to expand our activities, including a butterfly garden for all students to pick from and enjoy!

My kids stay after school during the school year and come in the summer to tend the garden.

They need snacks for fuel and supplies to keep chugging along! The utility cart will help move heavier items to our garden (located in a courtyard) such as bags of soil or donated supplies. Students want to start an herb garden for staff and students to pick from as well. We require soil to get our plants started indoors as it's too cold here to be outside just yet!
