My Students

A typical day in our classroom involves whole group instruction and centers. I would like for my students to be on grade level by the end of the year. My biggest challenge in getting them there is having the proper resources and technology.

My students are curious and independent learners.

They like to work in centers and enjoy learning games on the computer. Our school is a Title I school and lacks a lot of technology that is needed in order to be successful. We have the determination, just not the technology.

My Project

My students need an iPad. If we get an Apple iPad for our classroom, students and I would be so appreciative! I could have one more student using the iPad during center time. They could log on to Reflexmath.com and practice their math fluency skills! I just got a grant from the Reflex Math Company and I am excited to see if it helps my kids with their math fluency! They could also log onto ixl.com and practice common core objectives. The possibilities are endless!

Donations to this project will help improve my classroom by giving my students an opportunity to engage in meaningful learning activities independently while I work with others in a small group.
