My Students

In my classroom, students are learning about all of the disciplines that make up STEAM. They enter the classroom everyday super excited to get their hands involved in building, exploring and engaged in learning. It is a place where all kids are successful and learn.

It is important to me that all kids know they can learn and become successful at whatever they choose to do in life.

They are super energized and they make my job as a teacher so rewarding!

My Project

As a STEAM teacher, we have been building up our supplies for each discipline. We like to challenge the students in class using different materials. One of the ways we do this is by providing students time to work cooperatively in groups using games. These games are educational games that let students learn social skills as well as challenging their minds with puzzles and thinking skills. I am encouraging the students to stretch their brains by reading a book about "Bubblegum Brains". We use this as a tool to help them grow in their knowledge. These game materials will make a great impact on student learning by allowing them to have choice time as well. They are allowed to sit around the room on our flexible seating that we also had donated by Donor's Choose.
