My Project

Recently we were studying a unit on children from long ago. One of the sections talked about games kids used to play and I was shocked to find out that many students have not heard of or played these once common games. Games like jacks, marbles, and milk caps were a foreign concept!

Games such as hopscotch, pick up sticks, and card games focus on communication and cooperation as well as develop hand-eye coordination.

These games will help children connect to the past and will also provide low-tech games for them to play together during recess and free time.
