Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I realized that a lot of my students when asked to work collaboratively tend to shy away. These board games will help my students build their social skills such as teaching explicit lessons, fostering team building, increasing creativity, building confidence, and fostering resilience and good sportsmanship. In this setting my students will be able to develop mathematical reasoning and problem-solving skills …my students are special because of the neighborhood and the stereotypical way they are treated on a daily basis. These games will support and create a positive atmosphere within the math classroom.
