My Project
My classroom is a part of the BRYT program, which is an intensive intervention for students facing mental health/behavior conditions who struggle to succeed in the classroom. They come to my room to take breaks, be a part of social-emotional groups and learn regulation skills. The students in my classroom have faced or are facing trauma in other areas of their life. They look forward to coming to my room to feel safe and learn skills to help them recognize how they feel and how to regulate themselves.
Using these games, puzzles and fidgets will help my students learn much-needed social-emotional strategies to help them in school and life.
