Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

My 6th grade students are preparing for state testing. In order to make preparation fun, we will be playing games and students will be receiving small treats.

My room will be set up in a game show format.

When each student answers a question correct, they can collect a prize. They may keep the prize or earn more to trade in for a more expensive prize.

Rather than preparing for the test the standard way (practice tests, corrections and repeat), I wanted the students have fun while practicing and learning.
