My Project

Classrooms should be an enjoyable place for students to experience authentic learning. Students absolutely need to learn content, but they will retain that knowledge better if they are engaged in their own learning. The requested spin wheel and wireless buzzer game will help me to review lessons with students. Middle schoolers are naturally competitive and games help to reinforce what we are learning in class. Frequent reviews also help students to remember what has been taught and allow students to build new knowledge when they can relate it to prior learning.

I want my class to be memorable for students.

I want students to feel comfortable enough to learn new things and try without worrying about making mistakes. It takes time to convince my self-conscious middle school students to be willing to try, games help to quicken that process. Middle school can be a time of great anxiety and also great growth. With your help, my amazing students can learn and grow, all while having fun at the same time.
