Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I love my students for their vibrant spirits and resilience. Each day, they remind me of the power of connection and support. The board games and activities in my cart are more than just resources; they are tools to nurture their growth and reinforce the positive behaviors we promote through our school-wide PBIS program.

These games will create opportunities for my students to engage in meaningful interactions, helping them develop critical thinking, teamwork, and social skills.

When they play together, they learn to communicate, collaborate, and celebrate each other's successes. By making these activities accessible to those who make good choices, we will not only encourage positive behavior but also strengthen our school community.

My goal for this project is to cultivate an inclusive environment, in our Tiger Den, that rewards good choices and fosters a sense of belonging. I want my students to feel valued and understood, and these games will provide a space for them to unwind, connect, and grow together.

What makes my students truly special is their unwavering spirit and capacity to uplift one another. They face challenges with courage and curiosity, and I believe these games will further enhance their relationships and instill a sense of joy in learning. By providing them with these engaging resources, I aim to empower them to embrace their uniqueness, make positive choices, and celebrate each step of their journey together. Together, we can create an environment where every student feels seen, supported, and inspired to shine.
