Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The way to reach children is through play. My students learn a lot through play and they love anything new and exciting. These new games will help my students get excited about learning, as well as teach my them core physical and mental skills that will help them to do the best they can in the classroom, and in life.

Games such as button art and animal stacking, can help to teach the brain to learn by helping to increase the communication between the eyes, hands, and brain through following direction and creatively matching and stacking structures.

Other games, including pattern puzzles, bingo, and sorting will help to further develop their skills. Playing games will help my students learn the skills needed to be independent and succeed in school to the best of their ability. Please help us to add these games to our therapy room and make our leaning fun and enjoyable.
