My Project
My students love to learn, but, many of them have suffered over the pandemic and do not have the fine motor and eye-hand coordination that I typically see in this age group. We are working hard to get everyone prepared for kindergarten next year.
Fine motor skills will be critical to their success in kindergarten and beyond.
I am hoping to help them develop these skills through fun art and manipulative activities, while also emphasizing their letter development. A few of the items (folders, velcro, and 11x17 paper) will be used by me to help create some of these items and to use them year after year (I have a laminator to help create sturdy materials).
