My Project

Our mission is to empower students to envision and build a sustainable future through hands-on learning and innovative design. By creating models of solar-powered homes from cardboard and then bringing those designs to life with 3D printing, students engage deeply with concepts of renewable energy, sustainability, and engineering.

This project not only teaches critical STEM skills but also instills a sense of responsibility and creativity as students explore real-world solutions to global challenges like climate change.

By equipping young minds with the tools to design sustainable homes, we inspire them to become changemakers who will lead the way toward a greener, more sustainable planet.

Mrs. Lomax DeKalb Alternative School Grades 9-12
