This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The 4th grade scientists and mathematicians will use quality materials to create science and math journals. They will have the opportunity to be engaged in real science situations where they will use these materials to keep a record of their observations, ideas, and thoughts about science and math activities. Students will use their binders, composition books and folders to self assess and reflec ton their learning and how their ideas have changed and developed during a unit. Having journals will support student to experience how mathematicians and scientists work. Your donations will foster a classroom full of inquiry!
